Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is real and features Orks, Space Marines, the Aeldari and for some reason, David Harbour

That furious cyborg face in Geoff Keighley’s bottom was telling the truth! Creative Assembly are making Total War: Warhammer 40,000, a new era for Twar that looks to take the Total War strategy map/battle map format and apply it to whole solar systems. They got David Harbour to announce the game at the Geoffies just now. There was a moment of pure, ecstatic terror when I thought they were making Total War: Stranger Things. Harbour wouldn’t have left the stage alive. But no, don&rsq

Crystal Dynamics reveal two new Tomb Raider games -"the largest Tomb Raider world yet" and yet another classic TR revamp

The "future of Tomb Raider" has been dutifully revealed at this year's Geoff Awards, and it turns out the future is half-future, half-past. Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have announced a pair of Tomb Raider games - Tomb Raider: Catalyst, the next major new instalment in Lara Croft's adventures, and the previously leaked Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis, "a fully reimagined version" of Core Design's original Tomb Raider from 1996. It’s official: Control 2 is Control Resonant, a paranatural melee brawler with shapeshifting hittin' sticks

In another victory for trademark paperwork diggers, weird fiction action-RPG sequel Control 2 is in fact Control Resonsant, as confirmed by an announcement and trailer at The Game Awards 2025. It’s out in 2026 and swaps Control’s telekinesis-aided shooting for melee thwacking. Said thwacking takes place across a Manhattan that’s suffering from more than a dash of catastrophic reality breakdown, as teased - this time intentionally by developers Remedy - in Alan Wake 2 DLC The

Capcom confirm Leon Kennedy's return in Resident Evil Requiem with new trailer

Capcom have confirmed the return of Leon Kennedy in a new trailer for Resident Evil Requiem at this year's Geoff Awards, ahead of the horror game's release on February 27th, 2026. The trailer in question gives us a quick look at his capabilities compared to Requiem's new protagonist Grace. Perhaps needless to say, he's of the shootier persuasion, versus what we've seen of Grace's skulking and cowering. Here you go, pop your head through the paragraph break and have a gander. I promise it won't
